This black, 8.5 mil heavy duty, premium grade all-weather vinyl electrical insulating tape maintains conformability for cold weather applications. Scotch® Tape Super 88 is a 8.5-mil thick, premium-grade, all-weather, vinyl electrical tape that is designed to provide a protective jacket and primary electrical insulation for splices up to 600V. The flame-retardant tape withstands a temperature range of 0 to 221 degrees F (-18 to 105 degrees C).
Scotch® Premium Vinyl Electrical Tape Super 88 offers better mechanical/abrasion resistance, and is thicker for quicker build-up. For professional use, this tape combines the flexibility of a PVC backing with excellent electrical insulating properties to provide primary electrical insulation for splices up to 600V and protective jacketing. UL Listed and CSA Certified. Excellent resistance to UV rays, abrasion, moisture, copper corrosion, alkalis and acids. Excellent all-weather performance in cold to 0(deg)F (-18(deg)C) or hot to 220(deg)F (105(deg)C)
